Fundamentals (level 1)
Designed for either the individual new to training and/or as a transition from rehab to regular training. Focus is mostly on learning fundamental bodyweight movements and essential spine stability exercises. Participants can expect to be challenged in new and interesting ways and in the process improve their mobility, develop a strong midsection and increase muscular endurance. Each class is 60 minutes long.
Prerequisites: participants should be pain free and should consult with their health care professional about the suitability of this class for their current health status.
Strength & Conditioning (level 2)
Designed to build strength, muscle and overall conditioning. The class will involve exercises to improve mobility along with regular strength training. This is a lifting class using bodyweight, Kettlebells, Barbells, TRX .... Each class is 75 minutes long.
Prerequisites: for the relatively healthy individual currently not in pain who has completed the “Fundamentals (Level 1)” class. Some participants may be able to skip the Fundamentals class if previously cleared by Coach Michael Reid. This may require one or more individual training sessions to determine the participant's readiness for this class.
Upgrade your Range
Improve your joint mobility and flexibility. Be challenged with a variety of techniques to improve your range of motion including dynamic joint mobility, isometrics, loaded stretching, PAIL’s and RAIL’s and other techniques. This class can also be used as an active recovery session to compliment your other training activities. Each class is 60 minutes long.
Prerequisites: for the relatively healthy individual currently not in pain; no previous experience needed.
Drop-ins are welcome at all classes
